Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly? I think to be able to fly would be fantastic and it would give you a completely different view of the world and life itself. There would be no more mountains as you would simply glide unhindered by terrain. Large birds which we see regularly around these parts seem to soar effortlessly. I once had a session in a micro-lite aircraft and the experience was like motorcycling through the sky. A bit scary as the world looks very different from up there. Despite the occasional experience of another world we can be limited by our human feet-on-the-ground view of life. Our understanding of God is often restricted by our own limited view and experiences. Another view of our world would see it speeding through space at 67,000mph and covering half a billion miles each year! God designed it that way. 67,000mph it's a wonder we stay on! Keeping it simple what about the Dawn Chorus? Have you stopped long enough or early enough, about 7am, to appreciate the combined noise of birds, insects and small animals waking-up to a new day and singing songs and just making noise to celebrate the sun rising? Our Dawn Chorus lasts about half an hour. But because God is everywhere at the same time and is not limited He sees us hurtling through space but He also hears a continuous Dawn Chorus as the world revolves and each new dawn breaks in turn around the globe. I have mentioned in the past that God loves us to sing. Perhaps this constant celebration in song from His creation is music to his ears? God sees the bigger picture and we are to trust Him for the bits we can't see or understand.
