Trip to Israel 2012

A Wonderful Tour To The Holy Land.
Led by Rev.Ralph & Margaret Locke.

Monday 19th - Tuesday 27th November 2012

A programme for the trip can be viewed below.


Day 1 - Monday
Arrive in Tel Aviv, met and transferred to the Hotel for
dinner and overnight.
Day 6 - Saturday
Leave Jerusalem visiting Bethany to see the House of
and Mary and the Tomb of Lazarus.
Overnight in Tiberias.

Day 2 - Tuesday
Drive to the Mount of Olives, visiting the Church of the Ascension, Dominus Flevit (where Jesus wept over Jerusalem), walk down the Palm Sunday Walk
to the Garden of Gethsemane.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 7 - Sunday
Service at YMCA chapel, then coach trip round Sea of
Galilee, followed by a trip to Capernaum and Peter's
house. Visit the Mount of the Beatitudes.
Overnight in Tiberias.

Day 3 - Wednesday
Enter the Old City through St Stephens Gate to the
Church of St Anne and the Pool of Bethesda.
Continue on the Mount Zion to see David's Tomb
and the Upper Room.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 8 - Monday
Travel to the Mediterranean coast and visit Haifa, Mount Carmel where Elijah confronted the Prophets of Baal and Acre. Visit Caesarea.
Overnight in Tel Aviv.
 
 
Day 4 - Thursday
Drive to Bethlehem to see the Church of the Nativity.
Visit the Garden Tomb for Communion Service.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 9 - Tuesday
Free day in Tel Aviv. Travel to Ben Gurion airport for our return.
 
 
Day 5 - Friday
Full day in Masada. Visit Herod's palace, the oldest synagogue in the World. Bathe in the warm waters
of the dead Sea and then visit the cave where
The Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
 



Price 895 pounds stirling per person - LAND ONLY. This price includes all Accommodation in good quality twin bedded rooms. Transfer of passengers and baggage. Travel in air-con coaches and all Entrance Fees.
