Below is a list of topics which have been covered by various guest speakers over the past few months. The most recent sermon topic is at the top of the list.

David Clarke
David's topic was Revelation chapter 1 and 2 looking at the 7 churches in the chapters and stating that Revelation is a call to revival and to take courage. David explained that all are called to do the work of Christ, including children. The warning to the 7 churches teaches us to pray for balanced and sound teaching and to encourage freedom and flexibility in worship and church life.

Josh
While visiting Josh asked us 'What do you like the most about Jesus?' Josh encouraged us to be a People of Prayer, Compassion, and Spiritual Authority. Going on to look at the way Jesus walked among the people of the time as an example of how wer can reach others around us today.

Doreen Moore
Doreen spoke about Obedience in the Christian life. Doreen referred to the Recobites in Jeremiah 35 who were obedient to their fathers throughout their lives. Jesus was obedient to death on the cross and like Jesus we should not put off what we believe God is telling us to do. We must be doers of Gods will. Reference James 1:12-25.

Major Lynn Oliver
Lynn's sermon was entitled The Day of Pentecost and she referred to Acts 1:1-11. The purpose of Pentecost is not just a good feeling, but rather that is should encourage us to go out into the World. Lynn went on to remind us that the first Churches were formed by people who had seen Jesus, so we should be confident in our Faith as it is based on fact.
